It was one of those perfect sunny days on the devon coast — the tide was all the way out, revealing hidden coves and slippery seaweed-covered rocks i’d never explored before. i clambered over the jagged edges, trying not to fall on my arse, when i suddenly froze. something… someone was ahead of me. was it a girl? a body? no... it looked too bizarre. i crouched low, hiding behind a rock as i crept closer. my heart was thumping — it couldn’t be, could it? a friggin' mermaid?! i watched in awe as she flicked her shimmering tail, completely unaware she was being observed. but i got too close — she saw me! she squealed and slid down the seaweed in a panic, tail wriggling furiously as she escaped back to the sea. i chased her down to the waterline just in time to see her struggling between two rocks, stuck by the low tide. but instead of panicking, she just floated… watching me. curious. calm. almost playful. i couldn’t resist. i stripped down and slid into the sea to get closer. she darted around me, teasing me, always just out of reach in the murky water. then — gone. vanished. i swear she looked back before slipping beneath the waves. i’ll be back… i have to find her again.   ……if you would like to contact me (lucy), please reach me through the mail button. also check out my other clips store linked xxx
